winter camping rocks, totally different vibe with a friend in camp.

it's leagues easier to hike on hardpack or even post-holed trail with 5lb snowshoes vs breaking trail with a 17lb splitboard

digging down space in the solomid makes it my new favorite tarp. need to work on low points though (bench/trench method?)

tying guylines to the center of snowstakes is awesome.

making a dedicated cooktop is smart. still becomes uneven after some time though

1400ml is plenty for me, that's 2 boils and I'm golden

katabatic with straps works dumb well, but make sure to lock the sides in place.

mirage + army bottoms + WM booties is super comfortable

full ccf is worth it to lounge around
