this went incredibly well!

My thermometer read sub 0 after sunset, and then held steady around 10 while hanging above me in my tarp. Head and toes were right against the solomid. Snowboard boots had cold toes, but my new WM booties did not. I also had cold feet in my bag until I wore the booties, which I thought would be weird since they had a sole - not the case.

pack was too small. I need to learn to pack better, but 60L is still minimal for an uncompressed bag, white gas, and mirage/field pants. the outside pockets also suck ass.

I didn't use my new ccf under my pad which felt crazy. why did I buy it?

didn't wear my senchi since I didn't want to strip baselayers, plus I grabbed my trusty blue (heavy) fleece in the car.

having one thick balaclava would be better than trying to manage 3 buffs.

battery not needed. phone/headlamp/garmin were fine.

candle and book were dead weight
