This is my packing list for what I brought on the eastern loop of the Investigator Trail, which took me three days. I hiked the western loop as a day hike with a daypack.

Trip Conditions

The coast of South Australia should roughly follow the Kaurna seasonal calendar, where October-December is wirltuti, characterised by mild warm temperatures, winds, and possibly thunder and lightning.

🌡️ 10/30°C ☁️ Widely variable weather during the period I was at Port Lincoln ranged from sunny to cloudy with a chance of drizzle. Winds could be a light breeze or strong 90km/h winds. I checked the weather forecast to choose days favourable for hiking.
