Backpack
Gossamer Gear Elixir 20L UL Daypack (stripped). I removed the sternum strap, side compression straps, and front compression cord. Well constructed and comfortable, with some integrated foam backing that will be useful for insulating/cushioning my feet at night somewhat. The aluula fabric is very nice, being light, supposedly water-proof, and held together without seams. It has no stretch however and the water pockets are almost too small to function without effort.

Sleeping bag
Zpacks Summer Quilt 40F. Closed footbox with good loft and excellent compressibility. I find it comfortable down to 45F inside the bivy, but around 50F otherwise.

Pad
Torso Foam Pad - 3/8". This has an estimated R-value of about 1.4 to 1.5, which should allow adequate insulation down to 40F. It just fits inside my SUL backpacks to serve as a kind of backing.

Pillow
Big Sky Dream Sleeper. Is an inflatable pillow an extravagance in an XUL kit? Yes it is! This pillow suits my head and neck so well, I just have to make room for it.

Kelty Triptease, 3 ft at each guyline. I use Lawson Glowire for the front corner guyline opposite the zipper for quick identification when pitching. I use the Skurka knot method to tie the ends.
