Post Trip Lessons Learned:

  • Hill country scree is Tina's bain. She twisted her ankle.
  • It got WAY colder than predicted. 13 degrees! My Timmermade quilt rocks!
  • I really dislike the cheap quality of the Toaks 1000ml pot and pan
  • Fuel canisters don't work well in the cold
  • I really like the Seek Outside Flight 2 pack

Post Trip Weight Savings ideas:

  • Not much. This wasn't UL. This was targeted for the Scouts

Items that did not get used on this trip:

  • Rain jacket
  • First Aid Kit
  • 1 pair of gloves
  • Recharging kit
  • Extra socks
  • Pot scrubber
  • Gore tex rain mittens
  • Compasses and map (though this was brought for a Scout class that was not taught)
  • WRFA kit (though bringing this is a BSA back country requirement.)
