Post-Trip Gear Notes:

Temps were in low 70's to low 60's, with periodic rain. Humidity was very high and the trail was very wet. Didn't expect too many mosquitoes or ticks.

I woke up and all gear was damp also. For shelter I used my SOL ground cloth; shortened Nemo pad and my pack as sleeping pads on top of ground cloth; bivy on top of that; tarp to cover it all up. I used the Borah Gear bivy, EE Rev 20 R/R, and slept in my North Face red shirt and REI lightweight bottoms. I was very hot and sweating all night long. When I woke up the inside of my bivy and the foot end of my quilt were moist from condensation from my breath. I used my Borah bivy over the Borah bug bivy because i knew it was going to rain and was concerned about splash back at the foot end of my tarp soaking my sleeping bag through the bug mesh. I believe the foot end of my bivy stayed dry both times it rained during the night and the only moisture was on the inside due to condensation.

Expecting daytime temps in the 60's, I brought my Smart Wool 150 hoodie. This was not the case and was complete overkill and caused me to sweat profusely. The Columbia Fork hoodie would have sufficed.

Kimchi jar leaked while soaking and hiking. Spork caused slurping which annoyed my camp mates

Socks took two full days to be mostly dry after washing in the stream probably due to high humidity and mild temps.

Added anti-chafe (cornstarch) due to chafing. Sweating and high humidity.

Added back in Picaridin and bug-net do to high levels of mosquitos.

Replaced 1L platypus bag with 2L Sawyer water bag. Aquamira is a pain in the butt to keep track of which bottles are clean and which are dirty, especially if you have three 1L containers and are gathering three liters of water. *Consider colored bottle cap system (example: black=dirty; white/clear=clean, or switch back to Sawyer Squeeze).

Added in 1 fl. oz. hand sanitizer for fanny pack. Not having it easily accessible means I won't use it.
