Intended for safe, long-term, no swapping gear, midwest 3-season high altitude including CDT. Requires site selection to lessen wind, cold, and condensation. Fits into a 12L lumbar pack. I'm 6'+ tall, 180lbs, medium temp sleeper, and sleep on my side curled up. Optional additions at bottom for fun and travel.

Umbrella: Sun, rain, heat, wind protection, privacy. Go shirtless on warm days. Rain protection for open-top bivy at night.

Bivy: Raises bag temp rating. Use as groundpad, or if stormy, pull bivy over bag up to waist or neck.

Quilt: As parka in cold. Air it out when it's not raining; will get wet from condensation after being in bivy. Stuff loosely into bivy in bottom of pack.

Pack: Lumbar. As pillow at night. Swing around on shoulder strap to access while walking. Sleeping pad goes into elastic straps horizontally, with solar panel clipped atop to face the sky.

Food: Cookless. Pemmican and beef jerky from grasslandbeef. Stored in dual-layers of odor-barrier bags. Be careful not to touch food with hands, or any other pack items, when eating. Store away from camp / hang with nylon as needed.

Jacket: Softshell hooded jacket worn in town and cool weather. Worn weight since build is shirtless ;)
