I weighed each saddle bag with all contents inside and the total weight ended up being a little less than indicated here with all item weights listed individually. Total saddle bag weights for Hazel's pack are 2.35lbs for saddle bag 1 and 2.4lbs for saddle bag 2. With the weight of the harness added, total weight comes to 6.81 pounds (vs the 7.24 pounds listed above).

Both dogs eat Inukshuk 32/32 dry food on trail (higher fat/protein content for very active dogs).
