Let me let you into a little secret,

When we first started climbing 4000m mountains, ALL of our gear was Decathlon.

We could barely afford Decathalon's cheapest gear, let alone designer brands.

Nice gear is a nice to have. A strong mind and body are a must.

Today, a few years (and expeditions) down, our go-to Alps gear has evolved. Specifically to improve warmth and pack weight.

Check out the gear we're using this season in the Alps below. The total weight does not include food and water supplies and assumes sleeping in huts as opposed to camping.
