  • Sleep System Warmth - Have tested the sleep system (incl clothing) down to 0C. This matches lowest expected cold days and having something too warm for most nights would be more uncomfortable

  • Camera gear non-negotiable, listed as worn weight as I'm carrying on capture clip unless pouring rain, and want to check base weight outside it. Setup is the lightest I own for good quality pics.

  • Rain Pants aware these are light duty but normally wouldn't bother when hiking in the rain. Mainly for camp or super windy Ridge areas

  • Towel and jandals Honestly these just feel necessary for campground showers and keeping huts clean.

  • Worn clothing and trekking poles - noted to show what I'm using, but I'm not concerned about weight. Im very fair skinned, so the high upf is important to me (although I cant tolerate long pants in the heat).
