Gear setup for Alta Ruta Cantabrica, and Pyrenees yo-yo (Atl-Med-Atl); GR11'ish Senda Pirenaica and Haute Route Pyrenean.
(Setup subject to change...)
As for food I will carry about 750 grams worth of 3.500 calories a day to begin with, and then increase later on to carry about 1 kg worth of 5.000 calories a day.
As for water I usually carry 1-2 L at a time.
For ex for the first stretch of ARC with my baseweight of 4.465 g and 465 g of consumables, then food for 3-4 days weighing 2.5 kg + 500 grams sandwich for the first day and lets say 1,5 L of water, and I have a total start weight on my back of just a hair over 9 kg.
With a maximum of 5 days between resupply (and usually less), I will never carry much more than 12 kg in my pack, and most of the time less than 10 kg.
