SCOPE

A gear list for a potential PCT thru or LASH with two kids under 5 years old (one 4 year old and one infant under 1 year old) Going toddler pace (5-10 km/day, plus whatever mom/ dad end up carrying the kid)

Two adults will split the base weight between them. The kids will carry nothing.
The adults will need to carry baby.
We hope the 4 year old hikes on their own, but may need to shoulder carry them

Target is always < 10 lbs base weight, but will be happy to get under 15 lbs per adult.

Likely skip the Sierras due to elevation and snow (which makes it hard for a 4 year old to hike)
Will be ready with bail points, and will take way more zeros than usual. Lots of opportunities to re-assess.
