Cook Kit note: Switching to an alcohol stove would weigh 1.6 ounces for the stove, stand, and windscreen. An 8-ounce Vargo Fuel Bottle weighs 1 ounces. Stove system would weigh 2.6 total. This would save 3.5 ounces, plus I wouldn't have to carry an extra canister because it's easy to find alcohol for the stove.
