Eventually I would like to get a proper pulk harness and poles from Ski Pulk but for now this setup works ok. I do like that I can keep a bottle of water and some trail food and whatever layers I'm changing through as I'm hiking

Thinking about using a bug bivy 2 instead of the borah bivy because it is roomier and I love how the head end is all enclosed (pillow stays close lol) I also feel like the bb2 vents moisture better because of all the mesh. OR, I could just go no bivy at all, but I think with a single wall pyramid I want something to keep me all together as I'm an active sleeper and to block drafts. Not sure if I should get snow stakes for the ease of use or just keep making deadmen (I will be in the forest)

At some point I would like to get a proper winter sleeping bag. Thinking of something is the 0 degree to minus 20 degree range. I would rather have a bag than quilts for deep cold, but I would continue to bring the Vision Top Quilt.
