Most of my trips last about 3 days, with 2 longer trips a year. For trips longer than 3 days (for example for a Thru-hike) , I might add a few items, such as a wallcharger (41 g/ 1,4 oz), camp shirt (70 g/ 2,5 oz), bigger powerbank (150 g/ 5,3 oz) , camp pants (94 g/ 3,3 oz), second pair of socks (50g/ 1,8 oz), fleece hoodie (110 g/ 3,9 oz) and/or shakedry jacket (180 g/ 6,3 oz). With full equipment, 550 g/ 19,4 oz would then be added. Of course that's less than the sum of the items above, but I'm also leaving a few items at home in exchange.

I know that a Borah Gear Solo Tarp and Bivy would be lighter, but I've already tried a tarp and that's not enough protection from the weather for me.

The list still contains a few luxuries, such as the pillow, the headphones, the full size X-lite and the CEP cap. From my own experience, I don't want to go without these items.

I no longer use DCF. Too bulky, to expensive and too short a lifespan, in my opinion.
