Notes:

This is my load out for WCT 2023. Friend and I did a half-yoyo - entering at the midpoint we hiked north to Pachena then turned around and hiked south all the way to Gordon River. We had to pay for an extra ferry crossing to do this at Orientation.

Food:

Why only 3lbs of food? We did x1.5 WCT's on a 5 day / 4 night trip. As we only had 4 days of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and 5 days of snacks - we brought total of 4@1.25lb/day food = 5lbs. However, as we went North before turning and going South we were able to stash half our food carry at the Crabshack and pickup on the way back through. So our max actual carried food weight was ~3lbs.

Itinerary:

Day1: Nitinaht->Tsocowis

Day2: Tsocowis->Pachena->Tsocowis (left camp setup and took snacks and water)

Day3: Tsocowis->Dare Beach (Lunch @ Crabshack)

Day4: Dare -> Camper

Day5: Camper->Gordon (via Owen Pt)

Gear Weights Note that Worn items and shared items carried by my partner are listed as qty=0 as I don't agree with the way Lighterpack totals worn weight and prefer to focus on pack-weight.
